Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus to forbear the respondents, their agents, subordinates, officers and their men from interfering with the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of the house in Plot Nos.25, 13, 16, 24, 17 and 29, respectively, South West Boag Road, T.Nagar, Chennai, on the basis of the notice of the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No.640/A/2013/E A7 dated 30.03.2015. COMMON ORDER (Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We are informed that the encroachments have since been removed on 27.05.2015 itself, the date when the interim order was passed by this Court. It is the say of the respondents that the removal action was taken in pursuance to the order passed in W.P.No.6935 of 2014 dated 03.02.2015 and the portion removed is actually encroachment and not part of any original allotment.

2.In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives in the petition and if the petitioners want to establish their rights over the portion from which they have been removed, they will have to do so in appropriate legal proceedings.
