Respondents Prayer: Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to grant permission to petitioner to conduct a demonstration at 10.00 a.m. on 16.12.2017 to espouse the cause of the fishermen who are facing the danger to their lives in the mid sea.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct a demonstration at 10 a.m. on 16.12.2017 to espouse the cause of the fishermen who are facing the danger to their lives in the mid sea and such demonstration is scheduled to be conducted in a place near Chepauk Guest House where usually the permission is granted for conducting such demonstration.

2.When the matter is taken up today for admission, Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader, after taking notice for the respondents submitted that the first respondent is going to issue permission to the petitioner to conduct demonstration at the above said place and therefore, the petitioner need not have any apprehension or grievance. 3.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that by recording the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the writ petition may be closed.

4. C.Mary Sini Mol, the Sub Inspector of Police of D1 Triplicane Police Station, Chennai is also personally present before this Court and gave such instruction to the learned Special Government Pleader.

The above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader is recorded and the writ petition is closed. No costs.
