PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first Respondent to consider the Representation dated 25.01.2023 of the petitioner seeking sanction of 3 Revival post and one full time post to be more precise 1/5
Mathematics-1, Physics-1, Botony -1 in total 3 Revival post and one full time post in Corporate Secretaryship Department in the light of the approval given by the first respondent to the similar college for 2 revival posts in the department of Tamil & English and one full time post in the Department of Commerce vide proceedings Na.Ka.38801/G4/2018 dated 23.11.2018 and Na.Ka.No.7964/G4/2019 dated 28.02.2019 within a time to be stipulated by this Court and pass orders. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition to consider the Representation dated 25.01.2023 of the petitioner seeking sanction of 3 Revival post and one full time post to be more precise Mathematics-1, Physics-1, Botony -1 in total 3 Revival post and one full time post in Corporate Secretaryship Department in the light of the approval given by the first respondent to the similar college for 2 revival posts in the 2/5
department of Tamil & English and one full time post in the Department of Commerce vide proceedings Na.Ka.38801/G4/2018 dated 23.11.2018 and Na.Ka.No.7964/G4/2019 dated 28.02.2019
3. The case of the petitioner College, is that the petitioner college is having a sanctioned strength of 11 Mathematics, 15 in physical and 06 in botony as per proceedings in Rc.No.79483/S3/84-1 . The grievance of the petitioner College is that the during the past years the college strength has been increased , due to which there was enormous increase in work load and in the student strength, therefore petitioner college submitted a detailed representation regarding the issue to the first respondent on 25.01.2023 . However, the same has not been considered which leads to the filing of this writ petition.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the similarly placed colleges the first respondent has given approval. Hence prays this Court to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.01.2023 and pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time fixed by this Court.

5. The Government Advocate would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

Considering the facts of the case, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
