ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to provide to the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] for the respondents and perused all the documents available on record. 3.

It is the case of the petitioner that he is the Proprietor of a Rice mill and to collect the paddy from the open storage points of the Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation and after the hulling process, the petitioner is required to deliver the finished product to various godowns belonging to the Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation. The petitioner engaged his own lorries for transporting the goods and that is being objected by a lorry cartel operating in the area. agents approached this Court by filing direction petition in Crl.O.P.No.24205 of 2018 seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to provide suitable protection to them and the same was ordered accordingly.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is to provide adequate protection to run his business in the area.

5. Considering the facts and circumstance of the case, this Court directs the 2nd respondent police to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's complaint, dated 08.03.2019 submitted by the petitioner with the counterpart and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.

With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
