ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Special Judge under SC/ST Act, Ariyalur, to consider the bail application of the petitioner herein in Crime No.92 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent, on the same day of his surrender. 2.
The case of the prosecution is that the de facto complainant lodged a complaint alleging that the accused unlawfully restrained and abused him and further criminally intimidated him, causing fear and disturbance. Hence the case.

Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents 1 and 2 and perused the materials on record.

Considering the submission made and on perusal of the materials it is seen that the de facto complainant lodged a complaint stating that on 18.02.206, at about 03.00 p.m., the accused wrongfully restrained him and abused him in filthy language. The accused also intimidated the de facto complainant and used caste based derogatory words with an intention to insult him in public view. During the course of investigation, the witnesses were examined and their statements were recorded. It is also seen from the First Information Report that the petitioner is not a named accused.

In view of the above factual position, there shall be a direction to the learned Special Judge for exclusive trial of cases under SC/ST (PoA) Act, Ariyalur, to consider the petitioner's bail application, preferably on the same day of his surrender, in connection with Crime No.92 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent Police and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity to the victims under Section 15-A of the SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989. The petitioner shall surrender before the jurisdictional Court within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
