ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register the case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 21.08.2017.

2. The petitioner has given a complaint before the respondent police on 21.08.2017 and based on the complaint, C.S.R.No.950 of 2017 has been given. Since no investigation has been conducted by the respondent police, the present petition has been filed.

3. I have heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint given by petitioner, enquiry is pending. He further submitted that the respondent will complete the enquiry within a period of two weeks.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the respondent to complete the enquiry, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
