Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents No.1 to 3 herein to allot a seat in B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture in any one of their constituent Colleges at Coimbatore, Madurai, Killikulam and Trichy to the petitioner as per Indian Council of Agricultural Research's (ICAR) recommendation for admission to Bachelor's Degree Programme for the academic session 2021-2022 pursuant to All India Entrance Examination for admission to Bachelor's Degree Programme in Agricultural University (Aus) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).

Mr.Abdul Saleem, learned counsel accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with instructions to proceed with the matter finally. Hence, by consent expressed by both counsel, this Writ Petition is disposed finally even at the stage of admission.

2.The petitioner is an aspirant for a seat in the B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture and seeks a mandamus directing the respondents i.e. the Dean, Nodal Officer, Vice-Chancellor of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University to allot the seat as aforesaid in any one of the constituent colleges at Coimbatore, Madurai, Killikulam and Trichy to the petitioner as per the recommendations of the Indian Council for Agricultural Research. 3.When the matter is called for hearing today, Mr.Saleem who appears for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has been granted admission in Killikulam college and places on record the communication of the Dean (Agriculture) & Chairman (Admissions) dated 07.04.2022 enclosing the list of selected candidates under Category OBC-4.

4.With this, the purpose of the Writ Petition stands achieved and the same is closed. No costs.
