Prayer:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.11.2017, submitted in respect of issuance of patta duly re-classifying the land into Ryotwari, either free or on payment, to the petitioner's house site property for an extent of 940 sq.ft. comprised in Survey No.78/1A, Vengaivasal Village, Sholinghanallur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

ORDER

Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.11.2017, submitted in respect of issuance of patta duly reclassifying the land into Ryotwari, either free or on payment, to the petitioner's house site property for an extent of 940 sq.ft. comprised in Survey No.78/1A, Vengaivasal Village, Sholinghanallur Taluk, Kancheepuram District. 3.The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation seeking for issuance of house site patta duly reclassifying the land into Ryotwari, has not been considered by the respondents so far. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of, by directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.11.

2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
