This Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 314 days in filing the appeal as against the award passed in M.C.O.P.No.1384 of 2019, dated 26.10.2022 on the file of the Special Subordinate Judge No.2, Salem.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the records.

3.Having satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the miscellaneous petition is allowed and the delay of 314 days is condoned.

4.Registry is directed to number the main Civil Miscellaneous Appeal and print the name of Ms.R.Sreevidhya as the counsel for 2nd respondent and list the same for admission. 5.It is made clear that for the period of delay of 314 days, the appellant will not be entitled for any interest if in the event of this Court enhancing the amount of compensation fixed by the Tribunal.
