This petition has been filed to grant special leave to the petitioner herein to prefer an appeal as against the order of acquittal dated 30.03.2021 made in S.C.No.42 of 2017 passed by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Namakkal.

Documents perused. In view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in JOSEPH STEPHEN & OTHERS vs. SANTHANASAMY & OTHERS reported in 2022 SCC ONLINE 90, for filing an appeal as against the order of acquittal by the de facto complainant, leave is not necessary. Hence, the present petition filed for granting leave, is dismissed.
