C O M M O N O R D E R These Contempt Petitions have been filed against the non-compliance of the order and direction issued by this Court in W.P.Nos.35181, 35182 & 35183 of 2016, dated 04.10.2016.

2.On Contempt Notice being issued to the respondents, the second respondent has given a reply dated 26.10.2016 to the petitioners' counsel, stating that they have received six Bulls on 16.09.2016, from the Inspector of Police, B3 Kancheepuram Taluk Police Station, stating that they were roaming in the street on 15.09.2016, causing hindrance to traffic and that the second respondent is not in custody of any Bulls connected with the petitioners in the Writ Petitions.

3.In the light of the stand taken by the second respondent, the Contempt Petitions are not maintainable as against the second respondent. However, since a direction has been issued to the first respondent, the first respondent is directed to intimate as to where the Bulls are kept and consequently comply with the directions issued in the Writ Petitions, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Contempt Petitions are closed accordingly.
