By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims that her husband is having a valid license to manufacture crackers and explosives in LE-I license and running an unit for the past several years without any complaint whatsoever. The petitioner has also approached the 2nd respondent by submitting an application praying for issuance of a license for selling crackers in LE-5 and after receipt of the said application, the 2nd respondent called for the reports from the Superintendent of Police, District Fire Officers, Revenue Divisional Officer and the Tahsildar and according to the petitioner, all of them made a positive recommendation for issuing the said license to the petitioner to sell the crackers. The 2nd respondent acted positively and issued a license LE-5 in his proceedings in Mu.Mu.C4/22351/2014 dated 18.10.2014 dated imposing certain conditions and the validity of the said license was for seven days from 18.10.2014 to 24.10.2014. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Subsequently, the petitioner submitted a representation for extension of the license period stating among other things that she has not committed any offence or violated any norms or regulations and prayed for issuance of permanent license. The 2nd respondent by his No.Na.Ka.C4/4263/2015 dated 16.03.2015 refused to grant permanent license. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner preferred a statutory appeal before the 1st respondent vide Appeal Memorandum dated 13.04.2015. Since it has not been given disposal, the petitioner came forward with this writ petition.

4. Heard Mr.C.Selvaraj, the learned senior counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Dig Vijayapandian, who accepts notice for the respondents.

5. This court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner, directs the 1st respondent to take the appeal petition on file, if the papers are in order, and give disposal on merits within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
