PRAYER: The Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent to conduct enquiry and provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family based on the petitioner's complaint dated 02.04.2022 and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to conduct enquiry and provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family based on the petitioner's complaint dated 02.04.2022 and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a social activist and he was regularly filing Public Interest Litigation against the illegal construction made by Dr.Govindraj. While so on 01.04.2022 at https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

6.00 pm, the said Dr.Govindraj called the petitioner through his Mobile No.8825958177 and threatened the petitioner with filthy language. He would further submit that the said Dr.Govindraj also called the petitioner badly by using his community. Fearing danger, the present petition has been filed seeking for police protection.

3.Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that the complaint of the petitioner dated 02.04.2022 has taken up for enquiry in CSR No.165 of 2022. He would further submit that due enquiry would be conducted and if necessary, adequate police protection would be afforded to the petitioner.

4.Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
