This petition is filed for a direction to the 1st respondent to furnish the survey report of the property comprised in T.S.Nos.16,17 & 18 of Telugupalayam Village, Coimbatore Taluk, Coimbatore District along with 2/6

the measurement and plan sketch specifically indicating in which town survey number the excess land measuring 5'x78' measuring 390 sq.ft. falls, which was prepared by the 1st respondent.

2. Heard Mr.P.Chandrasekar, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and perused the materials available on record.

3. The limited prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to issue a survey report, based on the survey conducted on 16.10.2014. When the petitioner had sought for information with regard to the non-furnishing of the survey report to the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005, the 2nd respondent had enclosed a copy of the survey report to the Public Information Officer, Central Crime Branch, Coimbatore. However, there is no record to show that the survey report was given to the petitioner directly.

In this background, the 2nd respondent is called upon to forthwith supply the survey report for the survey conducted in the petitioner's property in T.S.Nos.16, 17 & 18 of Telugupalayam Village, Coimbatore Taluk, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is allowed. No costs. 20.04.2023 Index : Yes/No gya 4/6
