Apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Section 420 IPC in Crime No.not known of 2016 on the file of the respondent police, the petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused on the promise of getting job for the defacto complainant in a college, obtained a sum of Rs.7,00,000/- from the defacto complainant and cheated him without securing him a job.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that investigation is pending in this case and hence, opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any such offence and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that A1 and A2 in this case were already arrested and released on bail.

5. Taking note of serious nature of allegations made against the petitioner and that all the three accused have jointly promised to get a job for the defacto complainant and received a sum of Rs.7,00,000/- from the defacto complainant and that A1 and A2 have been arrested and released on bail and that custodial interrogation of the petitioner may be required in this case, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for by the petitioner and this petition is dismissed.
