O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for issuing writ of mandamus directing the respondents to remove the name of the petitioner from the Rowdy list and to forbear him from surveillance of house of the petitioner.

2.The petitioner would state that he is an agriculturist and also holds responsible position in the society. However, due to the property dispute and political motivation he was implicated in three criminal cases and all the cases ended in acquittal. Despite the same, the respondents has included https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the name of the petitioner in the rowdy list. Therefore, he made representation dated 07.01.2016 to remove his name from the rowdy list. Since, it was not considered, the petitioner filed the present writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.G.Rajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi, Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 07.01.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
