PRAYER: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the notional promotion to the petitioners as Forest Guard on par with juniors by including their name in the panel drawn for the year 2003-2004 with effect from 31.05.2004 in the light of order passed in W.P.No.35281 of 2019 dated 20.12.2019 and in the light of the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 10.10.2014 by considering the representation made by the petitioners dated 04.01.2021.

2.The petitioners made representations dated 04.01.2021 to the respondents to consider their request for notional promotion on par with their juniors. The said representations are still pending before the second respondent. The petitioners seek disposal of the representation in the light of the order dated 20.12.2019 passed by this Court in W.P.No.35281 of 2019.

3.Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners.

4.Considering the limited prayer, without expressing any opinion on merits, a direction is given to the second respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 04.01.2021 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.These Writ Petitions are disposed of accordingly. No costs.
