Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents 3 and 4 herein conducting interview on 18.12.2015 or on subsequent dates for the Post of Night Watchman in the office of the fourth respondent in the light of order passed by the third respondent Vide Proceedings No.O.Mu.No.14433/2006/Pa.A6 dated 22.11.2006. O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents 3 and 4 conducting interview on 18.12.2015 or on subsequent dates for the Post of Night Watchman.

2.When the matter was taken up for consideration the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous. He further submitted that during the pendancy of this writ petition, a proposal in favour of the petitioner dated 09.08.2018 was sent by the fourth respondent to the third respondent and it is pending consideration. Hence, this Court may issue direction to the respondents 1 and 3 to pass orders on the said proposal.

3.In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 3 to pass appropriate orders on the proposal sent by the fourth respondent dated 09.08.2018, if any such proposal is pending consideration, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
