O R D E R

Mr.A.Aruldoss, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5. Mr.Karthik Rajan, learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondent 6. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner's father is the owner of agricultural land and his land measuring an extent of 2 acres 10 cents was acquired for the purpose of providing land to the Adi Dravidar Department. The Government by G.O.Ms.No.656 dated 29.06.1983, stated that employment opportunity under Group II shall be considered in the Public Department to one member in the family, whose lands have been acquired by the Government. Accordingly, the petitioner made a representation to the 6th respondent on 01.11.2020 for considering his representation and the same is still pending without disposal. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the limited request, a direction is given to the 6th respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
