The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 324, 506(II) of IPC, in Crime No.79 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution as per the defacto complainant, namely, N.Sakthivel, is that the petitioner, along with other accused persons, assaulted the defacto complainant on his face and right ear, due to which he sustained injury. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and due to previous enmity, a false complaint has been foisted against them. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that there are 5 previous cases pending against the petitioner.
