On 18.03.2026, the petitioner was permitted to file an application for substituted service on the 1st respondent on the ground that the petitioner was unable to serve notice at the last known address and could not ascertain any other address. The present application is pursuant thereto.

2. Upon examining the affidavit in support of this application and noticing that the notice issued on 05.01.2026 was returned 'unserved', this application is allowed as prayed for. Consequently, the petitioners are directed to effect substituted service by publication in one issue of the Tamil daily "Dhina Thanthi" specifying the next date of hearing as 06.04.2026.
