ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under sections 8(c), 20 (b)(ii)(B) & 27(A) of the NDPS Act in Crime No.107 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner herein seeks anticipatory bail in connection with seizure of 6 kg of Ganja from three accused. The confession statement of the accused indicates that the petitioner is a financier for procuring ganja from Andhra Pradesh and facilitating the arrested accused for selling it in the retail shop and to new customers.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any such offences as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he pleads for anticipatory bail.

4. In view of the above, this Court is of the view that unless and until the petitioner is secured, the other information like source of the ganja and other illegal evidence made for the trade cannot come to light.
