By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims that he is the Head of the Organizing committee formed to conduct the temple festival of Sri Nemmeli Amman Kovil for two days between 03.06.2015 and 04.06.2015 and in this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation/application dated 20.05.2015 to the 2nd respondent. Since he has not been favoured with any response, he has come forward with this writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would, on instructions, submit that while conducting the temple festival, cultural and dance programme will be performed and there will not be any vulgarity or obscenity while conducting the said programme. counsel prays for appropriate orders.

4. Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents, would submit that within a specified time the application/representation of the petitioner will be considered and disposed of.

5. Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this court taking note of the facts and circumstances, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's application/representation dated 20.05.2015 in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders on the same on or before 03.06.2015 and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
