ORDER

This contempt petition is filed alleging non compliance of the order dated 18.06.2015 passed in Crl.O.P. No.14748 of 2015.

Today, Mr. R. Karunakaran, Special Sub Inspector of Police, Chengam Police Station is present.

On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation in Cr. No.489 of 2014 has been completed and the case has been closed as mistake of fact after service of RCS notice on the petitioner/de facto complainant. He further submitted that the closure report has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Chengam on 13.04.2016 and the same has also been accepted by the said Court.

In view of the above submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives in this contempt petition and the same is accordingly closed.
