Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 6 to take immediate steps to disqualify the 7th respondent from continuing to be the Vice President and also of the member of Ward No.3 of Udayendram Panchayat Union as per the provisions of Section 50(i) of the Tamilnadu District Municipalities Act, 1920. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents 1 to 6 to take immediate steps to disqualify the 7th respondent from continuing to be the Vice President and also of the member of Ward No.3 of Udayendram Panchayat Union as per the provisions of Section 50(i) of the Tamilnadu District Municipalities Act, 1920. 2/4

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 to 6 submitted that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.
