ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conference) This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the Petitioners in Crl. O.P. No. 17960 of 2020 dated 08.12.2020 directing the Petitioners to report before the Respondent Police everyday at 10.30 a.m. for a period of two weeks and thereafter, every Monday at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.

2. The Learned Counsel for the Petitioners would submit that due to pandemic situation, the Petitioners could not report before the Respondent Police. He would further submit that the Petitioners are prepared to report before Sooramangalam Police Station, Salem.

3. The Learned Counsel appearing for the Government would submit that this Court while granting anticipatory bail to the Petitioners, had directed them to appear before the Respondent Police everyday at 10.30 a.m. for a period of two weeks and thereafter, every Monday at https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

10.30 a.m., until further orders. He would further submit that the Petitioners are residents of Salem and that they have not reported before the Respondent Police even for a single day for investigation.

4. Taking into consideration the fact that the Petitioners have not reported before the Respondent Police even for a single day for investigation, this Court is not inclined to modify the condition imposed by this Court.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
