Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to forthwith release the petitioner's Mini Bus bearing Vehicle No.TN-59/B-5295 plying on the route ''Velliangadu to 15 Velampalayam'' along with the original documents viz. Registration Certificate, Insurance Certificate, Permit etc. and kept in the custody of the 2nd respondent on such terms and conditions.

ORDER

Mrs.Radha Gopalan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that after the Writ Petition is filed on 01.06.2015, the vehicle seized on 12.05.2015 has been released on 04.06.2015 only after the issuance of notice by this Court on 02.06.2015. She would also submit that even after the release of the vehicle, without even issuing any notice whatsoever as required under Section 86 of the Motor Vehicles Act, once again they had issued an order suspending the licence on 04.06.2015 and as it is an appealable order, compelling to file an appeal under Section 89 of the Motor Vehicles Act. However, it is stated that the petitioner's vehicle has been released on 04.06.2015, hence, the Writ Petition becomes https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

infructuous. Therefore, no order is required. Hence, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
