Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the DCRG amount to the tune of Rs.3,11,355/- to the petitioner along with interest at 12% per annum. ORDER

Mr.N.Subash Chandra Bose, who was appointed as Watchman through Employment Exchange in the Government School and promoted as Lab Assistant in the year 2005 and further promoted as Junior Assistant in the year 2014, retired from service on 31.07.2014 on attaining the age of superannuation. The grievance of the petitioner is that the DCRG amount of Rs.3,11,355/- has not been disbursed to the petitioner. Therefore, he has given a legal notice dated 22.01.2016 to the 2nd respondent but, the same was not considered. Hence, he is before this Court.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader has made a request that a direction may be given to the petitioner to make a copy of the representation dated 22.01.2016 along with a copy of this order for the administrative convenience so as to enable the respondents to pass orders on the same.

3.Therefore, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to furnish a copy of the representation dated 22.01.2016 to the 2nd respondent along with a copy of this order within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks on merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
