O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to reinvestigate the case in Crime No.2220 of 2016 and to file a final report within the stipulated time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record. 3.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.2220 of 2016 has been registered under Section 457 and 380 of IPC against unknown accused. It is the case of the petitioner that there was theft in her house, in which, she lost some jewelleries and other valuable articles. Not satisfied with the manner of investigation, this petition has been filed for transfer of investigation.

4.In a case of this nature, there will be a breakthrough https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in the investigation, only when an accused is caught either by the same Police or by a different Police. Therefore, this Court is of the view that this is not a fit case, in which transfer of investigation can be ordered. Hence, this petition is closed with a direction to the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Mylapore to monitor the investigation in Mylapore Police Station Crime No.2226 of 2016 and take action in accordance with law.
