ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction, directing respondent to pass final orders upon the enquiry concluded on 16.04.2013.

2.While the petitioner serving as Sub-Registrar Grade II, was placed under suspension on 28.02.2012 and on the very same day, he was also issued with a charge memo under Rule 17(b) of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, calling upon him to submit his explanation, the petitioner has given a detailed explanation denying the charges and thereafter, he has participated in the enquiry. Finally, the Enquiry Officer on completion of enquiry submitted his report on 16.04.2013 but a copy of the report has not been given to the petitioner.

In the meantime, on attaining the age of superannuation, the petitioner retired from service on 20.09.2012. Therefore, he made a request to the respondent to pass final orders upon the enquiry concluded on 16.04.2013 but the same was not considered by the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondent and sought for two months time to pass final orders.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to pass final orders, pending disciplinary proceedings, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
