ORDER

By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims that he is the President of the festival committee formed to conduct the festival of Sri Muniappan Temple. The temple festival is to be conducted on 03.06.2015. During the festival, the organizing committee has decided to conduct song and dance programme and in this regard, the committee has submitted an application/representation to the 2nd respondent praying for appropriate permission. Since there has been no response evoked from the 2nd respondent, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would, on instructions, submit that while conducting the temple festival, cultural and dance programme will be performed and there will not be any vulgarity or https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

obscenity while conducting the said programme. Hence, the learned counsel prays for appropriate orders.

4. Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents, would submit that within a specified time the application/representation of the petitioner will be considered and disposed of.

5. Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this court taking note of the facts and circumstances, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's application/representation dated 22.05.2015 in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders on the same on or before 03.06.2015 and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
