By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner claiming to be the President of Sri Kasi Viswanathar Ilaignar Narpani Mandram, is espousing the cause of the general public and decided to celebrate Sri Mariamman Temple Festival on 3.6.2015, and during the course of the festival, they intend to conduct dance and song programme and in this regard, submitted an application on 27.5.2015, to the second respondent and since he has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition.
3.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that in the event of permission being granted, there will not be obscenity or vulgarity while conducting song and dance programme, and there will not be any law and order problem also.
4.The Court heard the submissions of Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepted notice for the respondents, also.

5.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the facts and circumstances, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the application dated 27.5.2015, submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law, possibly by 3.6.2015.
