C.M.P.Nos. 9184 & 9186 of 2021 In C.M.A.No. 1745 of 2018 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.

Both these Petitions have been filed to discharge the father of the petitioner/ appellant C.Elumalai from guardianship of the petitioner/appellant E.Raghul, who had attained the age of majority and therefore, is legally capable of prosecuting the Appeal in his own accord.

2. In the affidavit filed, it had been stated that E.Raghul, who was born on 30.03.2000 had attained the age of majority and that can be determined by simple mathematical calculation. He is aged 22 years as on date. Naturally the father, who has been representing him, has to be discharged and Raghul must be declared as major.

3. Both these petitions are therefore allowed.

4. Registry is carry out necessary amendment in the cause title indicating that the father had been discharged from guardianship and that the appellant has been declared as major.
