collect the securities and to receive the interests and dividends and negotiate and transfer the securities specified in the schedule
2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that Mr.C.S.Ramachandran and Mrs.Janaki Ramachandran died intestate on 14.08.2001 and 16.03.2006, respectively, at their ordinary place of residence, No.85, Chamiers Road, Near Park Sheraton Hotel, R.A.Puram, Chennai 600 028 and left property specified in the schedule. The deceased left behind their two sons, C.R.Rajendran and C.RSundaramurti and one daughter, C.R.Gayathri, who are the petitioners herein. The parents of the both deceased predeceased them.

It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the Mr.C.S.Ramachandran and Mrs.Janaki Ramachandran separately and jointly held multiple shares in various companies and the total value of the shares is Rs.10,91,522/-. Therefore, the amount for which the succession certificate is required is valued at Rs.10,91,522/-. The learned counsel for the petitioner further added that succession certificate is required for the purpose of claiming the shares. Therefore, it is prayed that the succession certificate be granted to the petitioners.
4. After following due procedure, the petitioners were invited to tender 2 / 6
evidence. The first petitioner, Mr.C.R.Rajendran examined himself as P.W.1 and marked Exs.P1 to P12. Paper publication has been effected and the learned Master did not receive any objections.
5. In view of both oral and documentary evidences adduced before this Court, I find no impediment to grant succession certificate to the petitioners.
6. Hence, this Original Petition stands allowed. The Succession Certificate may be issued in favour of the petitioners in accordance with rules, with the power to collect the securities and to receive the interests and dividends and negotiate and transfer the securities / shares specified in the schedule.
