O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to file charge sheet against in Crime No.17 of 2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. On the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police have registered a case in Crime No.17 of 2016 on 23.01.2016 for offences under Section 294[b], 323, 324 and 506 [ii] IPC. It is the grievance of the petitioner that his leg has been severed in the incident and therefore, larger offence has to be included and others who have not named in the FIR, namely, Shankar, Chinnamani and Jayachitra also to be made as accused.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's wife also grievously injured in the incident.

5. Under such circumstances, the respondent police is directed to conduct thorough investigation and if materials implicating the others surface, it is needless to state that the police should file an alteration report altering the offences and including others.
