Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to disburse all the terminal benefits of Rs.33,06,530/- with interest at the rate of 9% on the delayed payment to be paid to the petitioner as admitted by the respondent within the stipulated time.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction against the respondent to disburse all the terminal benefits totalling Rs.33,06,530/- together with interest at 9% per annum. 2.In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it had been stated that the petitioner had joined the respondent Corporation on 05.02.1993 as Junior Typist and retired from service on 31.05.2024. The petitioner was serving as Selection Grade Typist. It had been stated that there has been a delay in payment of the terminal benefits, namely, gratuity, provident fund, leave surrender salary, EL and ML encashment amount totally Rs.33,06,530/-. In this connection, the petitioner had given a representation dated 30.01.2025.

3.Heard the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent. 4.A direction is issued to the respondent to examine the service register of the petitioner and pay the said amount together with interest at 6% per annum from the date of retirement till the date of actual

disbursement. The entire procedure must be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
