O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file final report in FIR No.1954 of 2013.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The respondent police filed a Status Report, wherein, in paragraph Nos.5,6 and 7, it is stated as follows: "5. It is submitted that I have taken additional charge on 15.07.2015 and taken up the investigation of the above case on the same day and on the same day, I have sent summon regarding enquiry and case related documents to both the complainant and accused [A1]. The complainant came for an enquiry without any case related documents on 25.07.2015 but A1 did not came for an enquiry till date.

6. It is submitted that during the course of investigation, on 25.07.2015, I have examined 3 witnesses including the complainant and recorded their statements.

7. It is submitted that the case is under investigation at preliminary stage, still I have to do the following :

- Some more witnesses have to be examined - One Veeran mentioned in the case to be traced and examined - Accused persons A1 & A2 to be secured to unearth the real facts of the case.

- Case related documents to be collected from the complainant and bank.

- Sample signature and admitted signature to be obtained from A1 and the same to be sent to lab for comparison."

4. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to expeditiously conduct the investigation, in accordance with law. With the above direction, this petition is closed.
