This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner.
2. May be on account of boycott of Courts, there is no representation on the side of the petitioner. However, in Harish Uppal [Ex.Capt.] Vs Union of India reported in [2003] 2 SCC 45, the Hon'ble Supreme Court has held that boycott of Courts is illegal and therefore, this Court went through the records and passed orders, on hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
3. It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that, on the complaint lodged by Lakshmi against this petitioner, petition enquiry is pending before the 2nd respondent-police.
4. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to co-operate with the police for enquiry and at the time of conducting enquiry, the petitioner shall not be harassed. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
made out, the 2nd respondent police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest.
