Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents more particularly the second respondent to disconnect the service connection for the property bearing Door No.338 Muthumariamman Koil Street, Sanarpendai Pillaipakkam, Panambakkam, Ranipettai District.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the second respondent to disconnect the service connection for the property bearing Door No.338, Muthumariamman Koil Street, Sanarpendai Pillaipakkam, Panambakkam, Ranipet District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen that the petitioner submitted a representation to disconnect the electricity service connection, which was provided to the fourth respondent in respect of the subject property on the ground that the petitioner is the owner of the said property and the fourth respondent forged the documents and obtained electricity service connection. The representation is pending on the file of the second respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and fourth respondent, after giving an opportunity of hearing to them, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
