C.M.P.No.7144 of 2026 in C.M.A (SR) No.161654 of 2025 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J., AND K.RAJASEKAR.J., (Order of the Cout was made by C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.,) This petition had been filed seeking to condone the delay of 2 days in filing the appeal by the appellant Insurance Company questioning the award of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal and Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Thiruvarur dated 18.06.2025 in M.C.O.P.No.09 of 2025.

2. Notice had been directed in the petition. Respondents have been served and names of the respondents have been printed in the cause list but there is no appearance on behalf of the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the reason that there had been a delay in obtaining the legal opinion from the Regional office and thereafter, the file had been misplaced leading to delay of two days, this petition is allowed and the delay in filing the appeal is condoned. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order.
