ORDER

This petition is filed seeking to set aside the order dated 14.02.2018 passed in Crl.M.P.No.1398 of 2018 in Crl.M.P.No.19434 of 2017 in R1 Crime No.1764 of 2017, on the file of Principal Sessions Court, Chennai.

2.The only ground, on which, the anticipatory bail granted in favour of the petitioner came to be cancelled is that the petitioner herein had not complied with the conditions imposed in the Anticipatory bail order and had not appeared before the respondent.

3. Today when the matter was called, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner undertakes to appear before the respondent in connection with the investigation in Crime No.1764 of 2017 on the file of the respondent herein.

4. In my view, a sympathetic approach can be taken. Accordingly, the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.1398 of 2018 dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

14.02.2018 is set aside. Consequently, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police in connection with Crime No.1764 of 2017, daily at 10.30 a.m. for a period of 30 days and thereafter, as and when required. The other conditions imposed in the earlier order granting in anticipatory bail in Crl.M.P.No.19434 of 2017 dated 08.12.2017 shall remain intact. In the result, the Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
