ORDER
With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition is filed to forbear the respondents from in any way interfering with the petitioner's property in Door No.1, Plot No.21, Panchayat Colony, Sathiyamoorthy Street, Pammal to an extent of 2774 sq.ft. comprised in S.No.140/3, Pallavaram Taluk, Chengalpet District.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
4. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner purchased the subject property by way of sale deed dated 10.07.2015 and he is possession and enjoyment of the property. While so, the second respondent inspected the property on 05.03.2024 and informed that they are looking for vacant site for construction of public library and trying to acquire the property of the petitioner. The main grievance of the petitioner is that without notice to the 2/4
petitioner, the second respondent had surveyed the land and if the survey is done in his presence, they can proceed as per law. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to survey the land in the presence of the petitioner and proceed as per law. Such an exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
