This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file a final report in connection with Crime No.996 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police within a time frame.

2. When the matter is taken up today, the learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] appearing on behalf of the respondent, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by the defacto complainant, enquiry has been conducted and the same has been closed as "Mistake of Fact".
