This is a petition to condone the delay of 551 days in filing the writ appeal.
Heard Mr.
Rajendran Ragavan, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr.C. Manishankar, learned Senior Counsel representing Mrs. L. Maithili, learned counsel on record for the respondent.
Though this Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit accompanying this miscellaneous petition, considering the huge delay of 551 days in filing the writ appeal, the said delay is condoned on condition that the petitioner pays costs of Rs.3,000/- to the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Madras High Court, Chennai, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Upon production of receipt for payment of costs, this civil miscellaneous petition shall stand ordered.
