This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register the case on the basis of the complaint lodged with the 1st respondent dated 16.06.2016, by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint dated 16.06.2016 given by the petitioner is pending with the second respondent. The dispute essentially appears to be between the petitioner and one Sajjid in respect of water connection. Under such circumstances, the respondent police is directed to call both the parties, conduct enquiry and take action in accordance with law.
