Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to issue computerized patta, chitta for the plot No.527, comprised in Survey No.33/4C of Thazambur Village, patta bearing No.665 (as per patta Survey No.33/4C1A4) measuring an extent of 2800 sq feet to the petitioners based on petitioner's representation dated 25.03.2015.

By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioners would submit that their mother purchased a plot bearing No.527 admeasuring an extent of 2800 sq. feet by means of a registered sale deed dated 03.07.1975 registered as Doc.No.1009/1975 on the file of office of Sub Registrar, Thiruporur and she was also issued a patta bearing No.665 in favour of the 1st petitioner and she is in possession and enjoyment of the same. Subsequently, the 1st petitioner received a communication dated 01.09.2006 from the Head quarters of Deputy Tahsildar, Chengalpattu calling upon the petitioner to pay the land tax and accordingly, they went and tendered the amount, however, they have not been favoured with any kind of response. The petitioners were directed to meet the jurisdictional Village Administrative Officer and there also, they have not been favoured with any kind of response.
Subsequently, the petitioners issued a communication from the Sub Registrar, Thriruporur directing them to produce the computerized patta, Chitta etc within 7 days and hence, they submitted a representation dated 23.03.2015 to the respondents praying for canceling the conversion carried out in the Survey No.33/4C1A4, patta No.665 of Thazambur Village and consequently to issue computerized patta, Chitta for the plot No.527, comprised in Survey No.33/4C, admesuring an extent of 2800 sq. feet and though it was acknowledged, no response is forthcoming from the respondents and hence, the petitioners came forward to file this writ petition.
3. Heard the submissions made by Mr.D.Senthilkumar, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice for respondents.
4. Though the petitioners prayer for the larger relief, this Court, in the facts and circumstances, directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 25.03.2015 in accordance with law after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date receipt of a
copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioners as well as the persons concerned.
