This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 1389 days in preferring the Criminal Appeal against the judgement made in S.C.No.10 of 2018 dated 16.02.2021 by the learned District and Sessions Judge, Karaikal, Karaikal District, Puducherry.

2. This Court is convinced with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the petition. Since the delay has been satisfactorily explained, the delay is condoned and this petition is allowed.

3. Registry is directed to number the above Criminal Appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the same in usual course.
