Mr.S.Ravichandran, Additional Government Pleader (HR & CE) Order This Writ Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 11.11.2022 in M.A.No.800/2021 and direct the respondents to appoint the petitioners as the hereditary trustee of the temple in question.

2. The case of the petitioner is that they are the hereditary trustees of Arulmigu Karvaradharajaperumal Kovil Temple at Kamanaicken Palayam. While such being the position, the impugned order dated 12.10.2022 came to be passed by the 2nd respondent, wherein the petitioners were sought for the patta of 32 acres of land, which is in the name of their father, to be transferred in the name of the temple, so as to allow the land to be leased vide public auction within a period of 6 months. The said impugned order was also followed by two registered letters dated 11.11.2022 and 22.12.2022, calling upon the petitioners to convert the patta in favour of the temple. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioners are before this Court.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents submitted that in M.P.No.800 of 2021, the final order has been passed on 13.05.2024. Hence, the petitioners may work out their remedy in the manner known to law, as there is nothing to decide in this writ petition.

4. In view of the above submission made by the counsel for the respondent, since final order was passed in M.P.No.800 of 2021, there is nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. Therefore, this Writ Petition is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to work out their remedy in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
