PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the 1st respondent herein to secure the body of the detenue by name Kalleswari, aged 40 years, D/o.Subramaniam and produce her before this Honb'le Court.

(Order of the Court was made by M.VENUGOPAL, J) Heard Mr. D.R.Arun Kumar, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr.R.Ravichandran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the 1st Respondent.
2. Today, the detenue, by name, Kalleswari, Wife of Rajendiran, aged about 40 years is produced before this Court.
3. This Court has caused an enquiry with the detenue Kalleswari, who has informed that her husband name is Rajendiran and she got married to him in the year 2000 and out of the said wedlock she has a girl child aged about 12 years, by name, Logaprabha and presently she is living with her brother, viz., the petitioner, at Kosuvamadai, Nalluthukulli Post, Pollachi https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Taluk, Coimbatore District. The detenue, Kalleswari has further stated before this Court that her brother and others in the family are suspecting her fidelity and unable to bear with the same, she is not desirous of returning back to her brother's house at Pollachi. According to her, she is presently working as Cook in the house of one Balan of Ramanathapuram Division, Savuripalayam, Coimbatore for the past two months and that the 1st respondent/Police has produced her before this Court.
4. In view of the fact that the detenue Kalleswari, is major and she is entitled to take free course of action as she pleases and also this Court taking note of the fact that she has been produced by the 1st Respondent/Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Pollachi, this Court closes the present Habeas Corpus Petition as nothing survives for further adjudication.
