ORDER

This revision is filed praying for a direction to the Principal Family Court, Chennai, to complete the trial pertaining to HMOP No.2818 of 2008.

2. It is seen that the petitioner has filed the original petition under Section 13 (1) (i-a) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 seeking for dissolution of the marriage solemnised between the petitioner and the respondent on 24.01.2007. K.KALYANASUNDARAM,J.,

Mr.K.M.Subramaniam, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent has filed her counter affidavit on 17.12.2009 and the petitioner was examined as P.W.1 on 30.07.2010, but subsequently, the case is being adjourned without any justifiable reason. The learned counsel further submitted that there is no possibility of re-union and therefore, the delay causes much hardship and irreparable loss to the petitioner.

Considering the facts of the case and the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Principal Family Court Judge, Chennai is directed to dispose of HMOP No.2818 of 2008 and the interlocutory applications, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably on on before 31.08.2015. Accordingly, this civil revision petition is disposed of. No costs. gms 23.03.2015 To Principal Family Court Judge, Chennai.
